City Lovin' @ 8:57 PM
Last week I had the opportunity to study at the Open Jar Institute- an actor training program in New York City. I was able to work with and make connections with people who are currently successful in the business and create friendships with people who share my love of theatre. Needless to say, it was definitely one of the best weeks of my life. And, naturally, a week in my favorite city just wouldn't be complete without a week of killer outfits.
Some of the fabulous ladies of Open Jar.
I really love these dark green high-waisted pants. I don't think you can ever go too bold in the "city that never sleeps" so I added a red lip.
After years of searching, I finally found the Naked Cowboy. I'm pretty sure he liked my outfit.
All black with a pop of color- one of my favorite combinations. I don't think you can ever go wrong with hot pink.
I love these big pressed metal statement earrings.
The incredible Lindsay Mendez!
Our awesome Open Jar cookies!
Standing in front of the Snapple Theatre, where we performed! Statement earrings with red lipstick- is there anything better?!

Day 10: Take Me to Denmark @ 10:04 PM
Because of my Danish roots, my family enjoys going to Sunset Villa- a Danish club that we belong to. Today we went for lunch and went on a walk through the gardens afterwards. I'm wearing a red and white striped mini dress with a brown leather skinny belt and chunky heels. I've been super obsessed with chunky heels lately. They're comfortable, easy to walk in, and I find them really high fashion.

Day 7: Small Town Lovin' @ 11:07 PM
Today was spent exploring Belfountain and downtown Streetsville. Old railroad tracks, a quaint little coffee shop, antique stores, and an old-school ice cream parlor. I matched jean shorts with a jean top. These days it seems that it's impossible to wear too much denim. Don't be afraid to try to trend, trust me it won't look as dumb as you initially think it will. Try to mix it up with patterns. I paired a striped denim top with faded denim bottoms. I even added a Calvin Klein navy and white striped bag.

Day 5: Oh Canada @ 10:36 PM
Day one in Canada! The following pictures were taken in the valley behind my Grandmother's house. The weather was nice that afternoon so I was happy to be able to wear a silk long-sleeve shirt without feeling too hot. The shorts are vintage Ralph Lauren jeans I bought at a thrift store and then cut and frayed into high-waisted shorts. Lately, I've loved tying a button down shirt up in the front and pairing it with high-waisted bottoms.

Day 2: More Adventures @ 10:32 PM
Today was exploring the Luray Caverns. Going 160 feet underground in a cave- definitely amazing. There was also more driving, this time along the Skyline Drive. Since we were going to be doing a lot of driving and walking, I went with a romper and ballet flats today. Comfortable and cute. The romper had a black and white sort of tribal print on it- it made me feel adventurous.
That's a reflective lake!

Day 1: American Girl @ 11:17 PM
Today marked day one of my trip from South Florida all the way up to Canada. In honor of today's holiday, I decided to keep it festive in my red and blue as we drove through North and South Carolina on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I love the bright red color of the high waisted shorts (Yes, they're the same shorts I'm wearing in my last post... Outfit repeater.) and the lace detailing of the crop top. Hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth!
